Job Descriptions:
looking for 8-10 Years of working experience in Quality department of a large steel casting foundry with modern equipment, steel valve experience will be preferred.
Mechanical Engineer/Diploma Holder with min. 5 years of experience in similar field / position NDT level 2 inspector.
Good Knowledge of all Quality Control Procedures followed in the Steel Casting Industry, specially for valves from Carbon Steel to Exotic Nickel Alloy steel grades, viz, Visual inspection, MPI, DPI, UT, RT and understanding of surface and sub surface defects and repair procedures.
Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data. Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished Product quality.
Should develop and ensure the compliance of all product-specific quality specifications and test/inspection methods including those involving any Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), globally.
Control Product Quality during in-process from Raw material receipt to dispatch. Machining & Assembly Shop. Daily Red Bin Analysis for in-process rejection. Review Market Rejection & take appropriate action.
Prepare necessary QC/Inspection/inspection / Test reports for the activities needed for the job orders executed in the workshop.
Review the Supplier Rejection (Monthly Basis) & Take Action plan for same from suppliers. Take Appropriate Corrective action / Preventive action For Assembly Shop & Machining Shop.
Conduct Process Audit, Product Audit, and Dock Audit. Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
To strive for continual improvement by Quality Problem analysis & solving for internal & external failures.
