Job Descriptions:
Must have experience in Large Steel Foundry Division Safety and EHS Environmental work, manufacturing background and candidates should have experience in EMS and OHSAS
Preparation of the safety management plan for the sites in accordance with the policies and procedures established.
Maintains and drives the Safety Management Plan and Emergency procedures being proactive in establishing initiatives for improvement.
Creating analytical reports of safety data.
Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
Reviews and analyses continuously the safety conditions and experiences of incidents and/or accidents and makes/recommends improvements in safety management plans and procedures.
Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe. Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment.
Focusing on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training.
Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions.
Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques.
Determining whether the finished product is safe for customers
Represents the site in direct safety issues with local officials and coordinates and implements new procedures or requirements resulting from statutory directives.
Liaise with the project manager in all cases.
Prepares the emergency procedures for the project site involving local authorities such as police, fire, ambulance and emergency services.
Investigate all accidents and incidents occurred, in accordance with the safety management plan. Prepare a monthly safety report, including all safety statistics and report to higher management
Organize and facilitate all site safety meetings involving one or a number of contractors.
Promote HSE culture among all employees & Contractor’s workmen.
